Training for Agile at Scale

Net Objectives was one of the first Agile consulting companies to take Agile to scale, going back to 2005. Our groundbreaking book Lean-Agile Software Development: Achieving Enterprise Agility presented many new methods which have now become common practice. The biggest difference in our training from most others is that we take a business driven approach - focusing on how work gets identified and then passed on to the development group (product or IT).

Lean-Agile Software Development goes beyond team iterations and focuses on incrementally delivering business value quickly. It accomplishes this by helping organizations remove delays in workflow and feedback which increasing collaboration and learning. It attends to all aspects of the value stream, from work selection, sizing and sequencing, to implementation, through deployment and operations.

The Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is the only formalized public method consistent with this approach that also provides courseware for a company to do their own training if so desired.

This page describes our own training. However, we also provide standard SAFe training as desired.

We became Gold level partners with SAFe because we found SAFe to address the issues of scaling in a manner similar to what our own 10+ years of experience in Agile at scale did.
