Full Description

Meetings are a fact of life, even for Lean-Agile teams. Meetings ensure we coordinate, communicate, and reason together. And yet, too many meetings are ineffective. They are not focused, go on too long, are unstructured. The course, Effective Meetings for Lean-Agile Teams, helps teams and team leaders have meetings that engage people and add more value. It offers practical advice and structure to the meeting sponsor, leader, and facilitator.

Alternatives to meetings and who should be there when one is advised is also discussed. This course is highly participatory, using a mix of instructor discussion, group exercises, and hands-on experience with decision-making techniques that can be used again.

Room Setup and Equipment Needed

Classrooms require students at tables (round or long) as well as several white boards or flip-charts. A projector with screen is also needed.
