On Becoming A Coach
Posted June 29th, 2007 by alshallI am always being asked by people how they can become a coach. I thought maybe it was time to write a blog about this then. I'd like to start out by cautioning people that being a coach doesn't mean that you'll be listened to anymore than before you were a coach. I have found I have to earn my credibility every time I start an engagement.

A Comic Break

I have always loved jokes and headlines as ways of illustrating how our communications are very ambigous. One of my very first rquirements courses used the writings of Lewis Carroll (Alice In Wonderland, ...) to illustrate this. In the wonderful (but unfortunately, out of print) The Magic of Lewis Carroll, John Fisher talks about how Carroll wrote many of his stories to teach mathematical logic to his niece. read more »
