Lean-Agile Software Testing

Description

Lean-Agile methods promote the rapid delivery of value to the customer. One way they do this is to defer detailed definition and design of system features until the “last responsible moment.” This challenges the whole team to stay continuously synchronized within very short Iteration cycles. The team must be creative, smart, and efficient with their verification and validation testing activities. Hear about these evolving Agile testing practices to achieve the goal of delivering the highest value features, more quickly to the customer. Specifically, we will discuss TDD and Unit Testing, Continuous Integration, Test Focused not Defect- Driven, Exploratory Testing, and Acceptance Testing practices. We’ll examine how the Lean principles can add value to your organization and how they apply to Quality Assurance goals and activities. We will also discuss how teams new to agile struggle with these changes and ways to get around organizational and technical challenges.
