Sustainable Test-Driven Development

As test-driven development has gained momentum in the software development community, many practitioners have found it a challenge to maintain their suites of tests once the number of tests in them gets large.  Many have suggested that the maintenance costs of TDD can outweigh the benefits of the process, and argue that it simply isn’t worth it.

We believe this is a false conclusion, that TDD is not inherently an un-sustainable process although it certainly can be.  This seminar will introduce some key distinctions in how TDD can be properly conducted and, if so, how development organizations can avoid out-of-control costs associated with test maintenance.
