Description

This bundle of training and coaching is designed to start out teams in either Kanban or Scrum. It is essentially our Implementing Lean-Agile For Your Team Course or Implementing Scrum For Your Team Course (depending upon what method you want) integrated with 2 days of coaching.  Follow up coaching at the end/beginning of the next few sprints is also suggested.

At the end of the week, teams have not only been trained in the appropriate process, but have created their product backlog and, if doing Scrum, their first Sprint backlog.  Follow up coaching is provided on the following schedule (if doing Scrum this assumes a 2-week sprint):

  • 1 day remote coaching 1 week after the course
  • 2 days on-site two weeks after the course (this will correspond with the end of the first sprint if doing Scrum)
  • 1 day remote coaching each of the next 3 weeks
Our experience has shown that this is sufficient to get a team up and running with either Kanban or Scrum.
