Phillip Cave - Senior Consultant of Enterprise Accounts

Phillip Cave is passionate about applying Lean principles to the delivery of technology solutions. His mantra – “think flow”; flow of business value, flow of information and flow of market driven features. Throughout Phil’s 20 years in the software technology industry he has enjoyed an experience that allows him to relate to all levels within an organization – from the technology delivery teams to the “C” level executive. His progression from software engineering to Vice President in information technology divisions as well as two software product companies gives him the broad perspective to provide pragmatic “real world” coaching and training. Phil was fortunate to have been selected for a Lean leadership program within an IT department of a health insurance company that allowed him to experience and coach agility by way of more flow based delivery models such as Kanban. His most recent experience has been focused on assisting customers to achieve agility with nearshore/offshore distributed teams. Phillip earned his BBA in Information Systems from the University of Washington 20 years ago and is currently on a journey to earn his MBA. -

Amir Kolsky is a Senior Consultant, Coach and Trainer for Net Objectives. Amir has been in the Computer Sciences field for over 25 years. He worked for 10 years in IBM Research, and spent 9 more years doing Chief Architect and CTO work in assorted companies big and small. He has been involved with Agile since 2000. He founded MobileSpear and subsequently XPand Software which does Agile Coaching, Software Education and Agile Projects in Israel and Europe. Ken Pugh - Fellow Consultant

Ken Pugh is a fellow consultant with Net Objectives. He consults, trains, mentors, and testifies on technology topics ranging from object-oriented design to Linux/Unix to the system development process. He has written several programming books, including the Jolt Award winner, Prefactoring, and has served clients from London to Sydney. When not computing, he enjoys snowboarding, windsurfing, biking, and hiking the Appalachian Trail. He is the author of Prefactoring.

Jim Trott is a senior consultant for Net Objectives. He has used object-oriented and pattern-based analysis techniques throughout his 20 year career in knowledge management and knowledge engineering. He is the co-author, with Alan Shalloway, of Design Patterns Explained: A New Perspective on Object-Oriented Design. He is currently co-authoring three other books in the agile and software development area, including Lean-Agile Software Development: Achieving Enterprise Agility, and the Lean-Agile Pocket Guide for Scrum Teams, and is developing training in teamwork and retrospection. He is a knowledge management consultant for an international relief and development agency. He has a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics, a Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies. An Associate Technical Fellow of a large aerospace company, he has also worked in the energy industry, banking and finance, software development, and artificial intelligence. -
Max Guernsey - Associate Trainer, Consultant

He is a second generation programmer; much of his software development experience was passed down to him from his father prior to entering the workforce.
