What Changes Are Required To Get Innovation In Your Organization?

Innovation is difficult to create. It is a problem with unknown output that must be converged upon, not calculated. 

This is not easy, especially when the system inputs and operating environment tend to be rapidly changing and unpredictable (e.g. What technology are we going to use? How complex of an integration is required? How long will it take to find an acceptable solution? How much will it cost? What will be the return?)

What we are defining is a problem best solved through empirical processes; trial & error, experimentation, learning loops. 

As a leader, you must create an operating environment where your organization can pivot its way to the best solution fast enough to take advantage of the market conditions that created the opportunity. 

This is business agility, and it goes against most organizational cultures, where failure is not tolerated, nor is risk rewarded.
